OK, so everybody is unique. what hurts one individual won't harm an additional. I am presently a couple of classes in on a leg sleeve and sure it hurts, however more commonly simplest after approximately four or five hours of steady tattooing. I individually feel that it hurts extra over a bone, or different areas that are not as fleshy. You would possibly believe the specified reverse. Like I stated everybody is unique. I have one on my aspect that did not harm, and one at the again of my shoulder that used to be, to me, a medium style of discomfort degree. I additionally agree that you just will have to surely consume earlier than hand, I've observed that I generally tend to get just a little nauseous if I do not. Most tattoo artists will deliver you a holiday for a couple of mins every time you wish to have it, you simply need to ask. Definitely opt for it even though, it's valued at it to have the lovely art work for your frame. Oh, and do not get a tattoo from the tattoo flash at the wall within the studio. You are nearly assured to discover many extra persons with the identical tattoo as you in the event you do. It approach plenty extra in the event you get a customized piece, to not point out you're going to have a one in all a form piece of artwork.

Like everyone else has said it does depend if you have a high tolerence for pain and where you get it. Myself like the feeling of being tattooed so I have a very high pain tolerence. It's true that it's very addicting, I have twelve and I'm only 20 years old. Some of the most painful spots have to be the underside of the bicep, anywhere around the wrist, ankles, i've been told the foot is painful, and of course the ribcage. Right now though I'm working on my ribcage piece, it's painful, but i take it better than anyone i've ever seen get one. I've worked in a tattoo shop and have seen many people back out on tattoos. Best advice for when you get one is eat a good meal before getting it. Don't want the possiablity of passing out.

Getting a tattoo definitely does hurt but it really depends. If you get it on an area that is more bony or if there are lots of nerve endings there then it will hurt a little more. However, the pain is not unbearable and if you just try and relax and breathe normal then the pain isn't that bad at all. You should be more concerned about the reputation and cleanliness of the place where you are getting it done, that is the most important thing. Although its a little nerve-racking you should try and see the artist prepare and make sure he gets a new clean needle and wears gloves before you get it done. Trust me it will all be worth it after its done.

This all depends on how high your pain tolerance is and where you are getting the tattoo on your body. Even tattoo artists will tell you that some places are more painful than others. Most of those are places that go over bone. Even if you think you have a high tolerance for pain you might be suprised to find out that this particular type of pain hurts you more than you thought. But either way if it does hurt you it is still worth it, and if it doesn't then even better. Good luck and remember..... it stays forever. Love your tattoo like you love yourself. I know I love all of mine.

I have a series of tattoos on my left breast, starting on the upper chest, going down and curling under and around my nipple. It is a butterfly over a flower garden. It didn't hurt at all. Matter of fact, I had a hard time keeping from falling asleep, I was afraid my head would nod down on his hand and the tattoo gun. Now, the one on my shoulder is a fairy watching over the flower garden. It didn't quite hurt, but was annoying, yes, like a sunburn that is being scratched, over and over and over....
I guess I would have to say it depends on your pain tolerance and how bad you want it.

Yes it hurts. It really, really hurts. It doesn't matter where your get it done (although some places are more sensitive than others). It is a needle injecting ink into your flesh. But if the tattoo and the reason behind it is meaningful enough to you, then the whole process is worthwhile.

i think it depends on where you have it - i personally have one on the back of my hip on quite a fleshy plump area and it really didnt hurt - and i am a weakling when it comes to pain - it was just like a vibration through my skin - but i am planning on getting 1 done at the top of my neck - and with that being quite a boney area i would expect it to hurt!if you do get 1 - then the best after care treatment for it is heamaeroid cream - it works a treat!!!

depends on the person, type of tattoo and placement. i only have 2, 1 on the ankle and another on the inside of my wrist. both hurt but it's more annoying than anything. although i've heard anything on the ribs and large back pieces hurt a lot.

I have 3 tattoos, and I find the sensation to be annoying, but not very painful. I had to sit still the whole time, about an hour each, so it was obviously not painful enough to cause me to jerk or jump.

depends on your pain tolerance. my hubby loves them, he can sit for hours and relax and possibly go to sleep.
me, i gave birth via emergencey c-section after 28 1/2 hrs of labor, had a epidural and spinal, and i was fine
I almost passed out from the pain of my tattoo.
but, what is true is that you get addicted, once you get one, you want another, kinda like going out and banging your head on a wall, you get the 'high' feeling from it and want to do it again.
