Grey Goose vodka is more expensive and the taste is smooth I would use grey goose if I was drinking it straight, Bacardi you would use for mixed drinks like pina colanda

The main difference is alcohol. Grey Goose is a vodka, Bacardi products are rum. Goose is generally considered a top shelf, or premium vodka, whereas Bacardi is a mid level, or a call rum.

Grey Goose is vodka that tries to be a "premium" vodka but won't release what it uses for its base distillation. Its over-priced at sub par vodka.
Bacardi is a rum that is ideal to mix, but that's about it. They do make a Bacardi Solera which is good over ice.
