I worked for a paint company as their colors consultant- Sherwin Williams #6164 Svelte Sage is the most beautiful color. If you need a sage that is a little more green try #6178 Clary Sage. They may seem a bit dark on the sample cards, but they will create the perfect amount of contrast with white trim. Black also really pops out against these colors. If you are painting a kitchen or bathroom use satin, otherwise stick with a good flat paint like Sherwin Williams SuperPaint, Cashmere, or Duration Home. Hope this helps!

Perfect is relative and subjective.
I've applied thousands of gallons of paint, and have often wondered "why so many names???"
Get a paint chip fold out sample book from a decent paint store.
Equate YOUR preference in what you might define as "SAGE" and go with it.
No answers here will be strictly right, or wrong,,,we all have opinions and preferences.
Regarding manufacturers, I prefer Bher, Porter, sometimes Color Wheel, Sherwin Williams.
I will also paint, at a customers insistence, a low end, off brand, but I've learned over many years, that the customer is always "right" even when they aren't.
I also suggest,,,with experience,,,SATIN,,,as opposed to anything else.
Rev. Steven
By the way,,,no offense to you or anyone else, but getting color samples from web sites, is way not the proper procedure. Think about that.

Restoration Hardware has the perfect sage green paint, in my opinion. It's what they use in their stores with white trim, and it's beautiful.
