I have a friend who was Catholic, Pentocostal, bhuddist ,muslim and now he is a Rastafarian. With each new religion he denied the truth was in his last religion. Now he says when Rastafari comes back to earth he will destroy the pope who was the leader of the first religion he ever believed in. Some people call religion a spiritual belief but doesnt it seem to resemble some form of schizoprenia or mental insanity?

We evolve as our knowledge and experience evolves; you wouldn't be considered mentally ill because you didn't drive a vehicle when you were three and then when you are of age and hopefully had the knowledge and good sense, you become a driver.

Can you imagine if we left this world with the same amount of knowledge and experience that we enter with? Hmmmm, maybe that is what's wrong with this world.....

No, just kidding, good luck in your personal quest for the truth; as for me, give me one God, one Lord..

People seem to have gotten so far away from the self-discipline that stears you to make the right decisions and the total joy that comes from knowing God. They are constantly seeking to fill that void in their lives they can't identify; hence, people fall into all the traps of the world, hate, the lies and empty promises of gangs, drugs that destroy and then they die; but heaven forbid you admit you need someone greater than yourself.

the friend you refere to has issues and obviously doesn't know what to believe in,when he leaves being a rasta is the next one gonna come and take care of rasta(i think the word for their god is ja). there is only one god,not gods. he doesn't know how to find god right now because he is confused about where to find him.he started of in the right place and ended up going further and further away, maybe he'll go through them all and go back to the first one.there he will find truth and god. he probably just wants to be a rasta so he can get high and listen to marley.

Sometimes you just outgrow things. They stop making sense after a while. Some people would call it spiritual growth,I just think it's over-analysis.If you think about any religion too much, you notice the flaws more and they become impossible to ignore.

People dont change Gods, they just call God by a different name. If all religions could see that God is universal, we wouldn't have religious wars.

People change to certain religions that suit them and what they want. As the bible says they like to have their ears tickled.

The first god was not the right size, so people returned him to Wal-mart, because there you don't need a receipt, and got another one.

Though we know Him by a thousand names, He is one and the same to us all. -Ghandi

It is the practices of men that he has rejected; God is God, regardless of the religion.
