Yes you can . But it will kick harder .And if you have screw in chokes You'll need to take the choke out and clean it after alto of slugs to make sure you can get it out later and to make sure it will come out. Most slug bbl are improved cylinder. Also, if you shoot alto of slugs through it will wear the choke out of the bbl. It will take alto to do that maybe 2 or 3000 .
Most people will never hurt the choke in their life time. Use regular slugs . NOT Magnums and you'll be fine Later Bruce

most all slugs will fire safely through a full choke gun but not all will shoot accurately. forster type slugs are designed to shoot through any choke. some sabots will work well also but may not shed the sapot properly. buy a boy each of several forsters and test them fo accuracy and point of aim since there is a difference between them and what works for one gun may not work in a different one

i would say no if you value the end of your barrel. they might fly out but the full choke is designed to narrow your barrel to allow a tighter patern for bird shot. slugs will distort in the choke making them less accurate and could ruin the choke itself and possibly split the end of the barrel. if you have the screw out type choke i would recommend getting a rifled slug choke for it they are usually around 25 bucks or buy a rifled barrel they can run from 75 to 150 bucks depending on the make of gun you have

I would through my single shot because it does not have a removable choke. It's a full choke barrel.
