OK so we don't have snack machines at my school but at the other HS closest to us they have like ten including candy! Why is this? Are they still allowed in schools? Has anyone heard anything about them being taken out of schools for good? Thanks!

Your might not have vending machines because your school may not be able to rent them at this time.Vending machines are still allowed in because we just got six new ones this year.I haven't heard anything about them taking them out of schools.Another reason your school might not have vending machines is because your principal doesn't your school to take care of them.I hope this anwsers you question.

This seems to be the controversial question in the schools these days and has several people debating what to do about it. The Superintendent of school here in Nevada has the say so and has taken a lot of them and replaced them with juices and fruits instead of pop and candy. they do want to eventually take all the junk food out because of the fact students don't need all the sugars that are in them.

It's probably just the school's problem. My school has healthy food and snack foods. VERY HIGH IN Sugar stuff is rarely found. There are a few soda machines hidden in places. AND some slushy places. In our school, we sell snacks for the profits!

it could be an excellent fund raiser, it truly is important in this age of funds cuts. maximum merchandising machines furnish water or pretzels as well to extreme calorie snacks and beverages. Many youthful ones are in school after hours for activities, and must be able to have a snack. merchandising machines will be set no longer to artwork in the time of accepted college hours. the youngsters and their father and mom are questioning those who can make their own judgements about foodstuff and drink.

Schools in NV are taking them out because the majority of the stuff inside is junk food. They are substituting soda with juice and bottle (expensive) water. What is wrong with brining a lunch from home anyways?

I think they are still allowed in schools. Don't worry though, they are a good way of losing your money and if you do get them at your school, don't be tempted to buy whatever is in them. I would know from experience!

Peace Out!
