Just do it creativley by buying a nice card and see if that works, put a note in the end that you want him to go.

Write him an invite with snow flakes on it.If you don't want him to forget the date,tell him you won't wear panties that night.Bet he won't forget then.

Throw him in the snow and just ask him. Or you could always get him in bed and right before he puts it in, do your asking.
