My cat Max is being really mean lately.... he meows when you even touch him.... we tried leaving him alone for a while, but that just made him more upset.... What Should I Do!!!!?????

You need to clairify your question. A cat will meow for alot of reasons. My cats will meow when hungry, playing, watching tv many reasons or just because they are cats. Why do you think he is angry just because he is meowing? or is there anything else.

Take your kitty to a doctor! Normal cats do not act like this unless something is wrong physically. Cats are usually very protective when they have a wound on their body that hasn't been treated, and they are defensive when you get near it. Tell the vetrinarian what is going on and they will give your kitty a check up and you can fix this "anger" problem.

My cat was a normal cat.One day he turn mean.Is still mean.There is no exuse for his behavior.I had a choice of getting rid of him or teaching the kids,company and husband to give him his space.He has growled at me and tried to bite me but I dont show him no fear.If Im trying to pick him up and he starts to growl I yell his name and continue picking him up.I noticed when someone backs away from him thats when he is more aggresive.If people can have attitudes and behavior problems then whats so odd about a cat having one?

i would check with the vet. Even though he may not seem complex, animals are!
It could be anything from a health issue, thats hes in pain from, he could me maturing and going through a mood which happens, or he good be mad at you! im no cat sycologist, i would say the best thing to do is call your vet or take him in!
