Eating to much fish in general is not healthy for you because of all of the metals in the water. In moderation though they are fine. Just be careful of how much fish you consume. One can of tuna will not harm your baby or you. Tuna everyday could cause some issues but it would take alot of fish eating. Just watch what it is that you eat now that you are pregnant. Try eating more naturally grown veggies and grains. By the way Congratulations.

Considering some people drink and smoke and their babies turn out all right...usually.

I think a little tuna isn't going to hurt anything. It's actually probably a good source of protien for you're diet while you're expecting. Think of all the jokes about pregnant women eating crazy things on TV. If it was really bad, the jokes would never be told.

There is nothng wrong with one can . The main reason why people ask you to keep away is for the mercury levels . But one can can does nothing for you, infact it is good for you baby if you take it in proper quantities. On an average a can per 3-4 days is a healthy intake.
