Its not religion thats the problem..Cause all religions speak of peace..But in every culture and religion there will always be fanatics..As humans I think we will always have a reason to disagree..and have wars

religion is different than faith in God, yes Lennon did oppose religion because by and large religions like to shove their view down your throat, and if they could they would burn you at the stake if you disagreed with them, but today they just make you feel bad and make you fearfull, i dont have a religion i have a faith in God i dont force it on anyone if someone would like to listen i will share if you dont want to listen i leave you alone, now if everyone had this view, then the world would be peacefull, but politics is just like religion, John lennons vision would never work, because marxism would eventually turn into a dictatorship and someone would be running the whole world and eventually the human race would be extinct.

Yes, I have thought about it, and I don't think that it would work. This song describes thhe "New World Order" that was introduced by George H.W. Bush. But it is also what the UN and the Catholic church is working for. John Lenin was a communist, and we have seen that it looks good in theory, but will never work.
