Years ago I also lost my husband, job & my home all within a couple of months. I am a Christian & couldn't understand why God would allow this to happen. Move back to my moms house, no job, no car, no money, no life to speak of. Finally got a car & job but within a short time I was diagnoist with a brain tumor.
I had the surgery tried to go back to work, but could no longer hold a job. Finally met someone & married a wonderful Christian man.
Within 6 months I develop another brain tumor, more surgery, then my stepson was found under a bridge unconcious, rushed him to the hospital, they discovered a defect in his heart, he had to have surgery, 3 months later another tumor, more surgery, 2-3 months after that my mom passed away. 6 months after that my father-in-law passed away. I no longer can work & it's been very difficult at times, but the Lord has pulled us through every time.
What I'm saying is don't give up, don't think you can't go on because believe me you can; Read the following
IITim.3---Heb.13---Ps.46---Matt.28
There are many more veres that can help you.
Leave you email if you like & I will tell you.
Juest know the Lord will never leave you or forsake you, even if it feels like it some times.
Lord Bless you & comfort you
sorry so long

hi Rob, first off im sorry that no one has answered your question yet. but be thankful you havent had people say mean things to you while youre down... people love doing that to you on this site. dont let them get you down.

this could be a great oppertunity for you to turn to God. without this happening in your life you might never have considored God.. and so maybe this is what he is using in our life to bring you to him. God is concerned first and foremost about your soul and so even though you are going through such heartache this could ultimately be the best thing that ever happened to you because you ran out of placs to turn and so you finally turned to God.

If you go to this site you can download some Christian sermons by topic. Scroll through them and see if there is anything you might like listening to. You might find that they are very helpful.

dont commit souicide.

Talk to her, Rob. Let her hear your love for her and for your children.

And Rob, no matter what, your children will need you some day. If your wife (and the courts) keep you from them now, there will come a day when they will not be bound by those restrictions.

Do all you can to be ready for that day. Don't desert them, or your wife, by ending your life. Even if she and they do not see a need for you now, the day may yet come when they will. You must be there for them, no matter how much pain you must bear waiting for the day.

Hold on to your love for them, and do not let despair take you. Love will see you through this.

Turn to the Lord Jesus Christ - He will help you. With His strength you can get through this. Don't lose hope. Even if you don't reconcile with your wife, you can reconcile with God the Father through Jesus and you will have the hope of Heaven. I pray that you will choose Christ and live an abundant life that He has for you. Jesus said "I have come that they (meaning us) may have life and have it abundantly." Blessings to you and I will be praying for you and your wife. Also you are not a failure, remember that. You are a child of God and He loves you. He made you and He wants a relationship with you. I pray you find Him.
