What was his intention for saying that....?

My ex bf was sweet & caring but he was the one who ended our short relationship. (We had a very innocent relationship, it never went past kissing.) But after he ended it, he would still say hi to me on msn and he even invited me to his b-day which was at a club. I went w/ a friend, it was so awkward. He kept coming up to me to talk but I didn't really feel like talking to him, so it seemed like I kinda ignored him. Neways, after his b-day he stopped saying hi to me on msn. After 2 months of not talking one day he said hi to me on msn. he thanked me for going to his b-day (too late, I know) and he evev said "I didn't mean to ignore you, sorry" I can't believe him, I ignored him! why would he apologize when I didn't feel like talking to him?

kinda regret going but I went there ignoring him, showing him that I'm not bitter and that I have courage. Plus his friend was hitting on me and my ex was sooo jealous that he pushed his friend!!!!
By the way. when he apologized I told him it's ok and that I only went there to say bye to him and finally close the book.

Okay okay, so why did you even go to the party?? It seems as though since you went out of your way to go to HIS party that he probably feels that he had the upper hand. Yeah maybe you ignored him, but since you were at his party and you guys didn't really talk, he probably felt like he ignored you. I think if he is an EX let him be an EX, or get back together with him, if its worth it.

you are trying way to hard to make this guy think you are over him
if you wanted to do that you would not say his or anything and you would not have went to his birthday party
