why isn't it COMMON for a white guy to date an indian girl?

I can't tell you from the guys point, but in high school I had a lot of friends who were Indian. They had crushes on white guys but would never think about dating one because of how their family would react. They felt they needed to date and eventually marry an Indian guy. Now maybe their parents were a little old school, and not all Indian parents are like that, but that is just what I observed.

Indian as in frim india, or indian as in native american? In both cases there is a minority thing to consider, there are not to many of either really around in the whole mix. so where it may not seem common, you have to look at the ratio. I live in an area with alot of Native Americans around and the white guys date alot of the girls in the are. There is also the Race thing, some tribes are against mixing the blood further. so there is that too

There are many reasons, but here are a few...
1. There simply aren't enough Indian girls around to date.
2. Cultures may be too different.
3. Religion could also play a factor.

Are you talking Native American or a girl from India?
If you are speaking of girls from India, many of them have very strict families who want them to marry Indian men.

well it is culture that makes stay away more there own. most white males don't look at Indian women.as dates. per-pressure is hard to fight. it is a shame because you should feel easy at dating who you like not Friends and family.

I'm not sure of the answer but probably because they aren't in the same circles. I see many different races dating so it's probably not a race thing.

probobly because most people dont date people that arn't their same... well.. i forgot the word. like white guy and white girl. black guy and black girl. indian guy and indian girl. as sad as it is. not saying everyone is like that though.
