there is a new chemistry teacher at school and he is really mean. he has called multiple students stupid and makes rude comment twords them. for example i was sick yesterday and when i asked him if i had missed anything he replied yes you missed seven periods of school. he then told me that he wouldnt let me make up the work and that next time i should think before i miss school. he also mumbles when he talkes and he does not explain anything. when i was trying to help a student today he said i wasent paying attention. when i told him i was he asked me a question. when i tryed to answer he yell wrong. then he pushed the button on the overhead and the answer and question was there so we had not even learned that yet. how was i suppose to know the answer. its like he just wants us to all fail. i dont know what to do. many parents and students have complained and nothing has happened. is there some kind of petition i can get people to sign or somthing to get him out of the school? thanks

This teacher not only needs repremanding but I would first go to the principal about him and his language and then to the school board- keep a record of what he does (at home) and what day he said it- get others to do it too and take it with you- If this was happening to my daughter at school I would be down in his and the principals face and the problem would be solved. You need a grownups help- do you have a parent or a teacher to help you? I'm sure the other teachers would be appalled. All of this is against the rules- they are NOT to talk to you that way-ever. GOOD LUCK!

Is there a way you can tape this nonsense. Sounds like the guy has a personality problem. Sometimes taking things to the superintendent of the school district can help but i think you would need some proof...like a tape.

you could go to the student counselor--or the dean--not that it would make much difference --write out a complaint it'll make you feel better, then try to get another class-----bad teachers are just like mold--they are stinky and they never go away

sounds like he's a total prick. my suggestion to you would be you ask your counselor about it, and he can probably give you some strategies for dealing with him. Chances are, if people have complained to the school, they have spoke with him about it, and he is trying to change.

Talk to your guidance counselor. If that doesn't work, talk to one of the dean's and get your parents to do the same. If that doesn't work, parent-teacher conference?
