My boyfriend & I found the perfect dog last Sunday. He's a 1 1/2 year old male Black Lab. He's very sweet & energetic. We want a name that goes well with his personality. Got any suggestions?

Please do not name it some thing that goes with the color, give it a name that stands for, I run a rescue, half the animals that come in that are black and white are Oreo, with ones snowball, snowflake or cotton. Black ones are always shadow onyx blackie or chole, brown and rust are always reeses,

Other things to consider are the length of the name. In general, shorter names with one or two syllables will be easier for your pet to recognize than longer names.

We always give our dogs PEOPLE names....because they are members of our family.
Suggestions: Riley, Duncan (Means "dark one"), Gideon, Pedro, Vito, Silas, Creighton, Jonas, Charlie, Johnny, or Toby.
