Well, in my day ... that meant you went to a detention room. Each of your teachers had to give you work to take up like an hour's worth of time. You couldn't talk and/or socialize with anyone else in the room. You had to just sit there and do the work and you had to get your lunch at a designated time and just eat it in the detention room.
This was about 20 years ago ... so I am not sure quite what it has evolved into now :).

What is in school suspension like?
Boring. Silent. Clockwatching.
Bring a book to read and pretend its for a class that you have to write a report on- I suggest "Catcher in the Rye" and see if you can ask the age old quesiton "If you had a million years, could you erase all the F you's on the walls?"

In my high school it was the worst most boring day ever and they wouldnt let you sleep. You just sat at these desks that ran along the wall and had like sides on them so you were your own liitle cubby (lol) but the teacher could see the back of all of you. Then you just sat there and tried not to die of boredom.

in school or out of school, out of school sucks becuase your parents are most likely going to be on your back the whole time, even when you are sleeping, in school is better, but not really, because you still have to wake your *** up and get to school and not spend any time with your friends.

They make you use spellcheck!!!!!!
ITS BORING!!! SACK LUNCHES!! PB&J and Carrot sticks. YUCK!! You can't talk. You just SIT THERE!!! And some old smelly guy monitors the room. !

in my school, you sit in the principal's office ALL DAY LONG- you can't even go out at lunch. IT SUCKS!
