i feel so badly for the people who say that they have an immortal soul, or that you go to heaven or hell after you die, do you not read what the bible teaches you? At jesus 2nd comming will the dead be raised. And thats just the richous. 1000years later the other will be raised to face judgement. Why do people want to belive that you go to heaven?? the truth is people, YOU NEVER GO TO HEAVEN. Jesus sets up his kingdom here on EARTH! OPEN YOUR EYES!! satan has blinded you from the truth.

This is another one of those UNBIBLICAL beliefs that Christian churches teach to their congregation.
When we die. we die. we rot. the flesh return to ashes.
Jesus promised to come again and resurrect the dead who will go to heaven and resurrect the dead that will go to hell. If it is true that a holy person goes to heaven after death, then why is Jesus coming back? Why are the Apostles so anxious to know when and the signs of His coming?
Lazarus who was ressurected by Jesus was at least dead four days and was already rotting. He should have been mad at Jesus for bringing him back from eternal bliss heaven to this dready earth. But he was silent. He did not go to heaven. Or if he did go to heaven during those four days - what a story that would have been. The only person who has gone up to heaven and came down to describe the streets of gold. But he was silent.
Elijah is an exception - he was taken to heaven in a whirlwind and Moses was resurrected. Both appeared on the day Jesus was transfigured.
How about the thief on the cross? Remember, in the original text, they never used punctuation mark. It should have read (note the comma) I promised to you today, - You will be with me in paradise. We know this to be a correct intepretation because ALL Christian know that Jesus did not go to heaven that day. he died that day, was buried and resurrected on the third day. When Mary saw Him, He told her...told touch me (meaning dont detain me), I have not yet gone to my Father in heaven.

First off. If you die now, your not going to either place. Heaven or hell, has not been created yet.
The Bible speaks of 2 different heavens. God is in the 3rd heaven now. That is NOT the New Spiritual Kingdom He promises Christians.
There will be a New Heaven and Hell (Lake of Fire).
Yes.

Yea!! man!!
Read John 14:6. Jesus is the ONLY way to the Father in Heaven. But, you have to live good lives, you are right about that. Read Luke 13:3, and Revelation 3:19. But, you have to ask Jesus into your heart and life. Read Revelation 3:20 and 1John 5:11-12. ALL because He HAD to come, back in Genesis 3:15, and Isaiah 53. There are other verses. This is righteousness, I believe.

I did not realize there used to be a situation worse than hell. What would be worse. If I died in these days, or the next day to come, I might move to heaven however no longer considering the fact that I am a well character. I think in Jesus because the Son of God, John three:sixteen says For God so Loved ....that he gave his best begotten Son.... That WHOSOEVER believeth in Him shall no longer perish. IJohn a million:nine If you confess your sins, he's devoted and simply to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. People move to Heaven for thier notion in Jesus and move to hell for thier unbelief. Christians are anticipated to by no means make errors, to be well always, to by no means utter a phrase approximately salvation to any individual although the Bible tells us to head and inform, however it isn't like that. When unbelievers discover that we're simply as human, make simply as many errors as others then they'll come to appreciate the which means of what we attempt to inform them. Granted Christians will have to try to do unique, we will have to take a look at more difficult to be Christlike however it isn't constantly so handy. It's a lot less complicated to are living the lifetime of an unbeliever, no longer having any individual to reply to, or no longer being referred to as hypocritical considering the fact that we're not able to are living as much as their specifications - Heaven is my calling reguardless of what any individual else believes of me. God is aware of my imperfections, he is aware of my center. This is what concerns such a lot to me and Heaven sure is in which I'm going whether or not or not it's in these days, the next day to come or years from now. There isn't any situation larger than Heaven, if there may be - in which could that be?

There is no such thing as a "good" Christian. All people, Christian or not, are sinners. Only God is good. It is the repentant (ie the ones who are truly sorry for, and turn away from doing, evil) Christians who live their life as Jesus did, are saved, and will see Heaven.
Again, all people are sinners... we have all gone astray from the path God set for us, and are deserving of Hell. Only the ones who refuse to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, follow His teachings, and/or repent, will go to Hell.
If you try to be good, you can still be Hell-bound, since God requires absolute perfection and sinlessness for someone to be in His presence. Jesus makes this happen for us; good deeds don't.
Even the worst among the worst have the opportunity to be saved if they are truly sorry, wholeheartedly desire to change their ways, and entrust their life to Jesus.
And yes, I know both Heaven and Hell exist.

Eric H,
Yes to: Heaven, Hell and eternal spirits. Everybody is eternal, and you go to either Heaven or Hell.
"do you think if your a good christan you go to heaven to be with jesus?"
You have to define, "good." But in most cases "good" means that you did more good things than bad things, and your good things were greater than your bad things, and your bad things weren't very bad things.
All that's not true! God defines good as never ever doing a bad thing, and the Law had to be kept, without a fault. No deviation. It was impossible throughout history for all men except one, the Lord Jesus. My Lord.
So our connection to Him is the key to entering Heaven. And if we choose to go our own way, it's Hell for us.

The determination of what happens with our spirit and soul has nothing to do with being "good or bad". We can never be good enough to deserve God's forgiveness. We could never do enough to earn it.
Salvation is a free gift, offered to those that believe and accept of the completed work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

Personally NO I don't believe that after I die I will go to heaven or hell. I KNOW that my organs will be donated and by body will be placed in a coffin and then into the ground and my body will decompose. That's the end of the process, no heaven and no hell.

yes if you are a believer, Bible says we will go to heaven.John 3:13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.
It also tells us about hell, if we are a non believer.Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

"If you're bad you go to hell" - NOT true. We're all bad - it's in our sinful human nature. But for those who repent and ask for forgiveness, Jesus offers salvation. I do believe in hell because God says it's just as real as heaven is.
We are saved by grace through faith - not by our deeds, so being "bad" cannot condemn us to hell. Believe in the Lord your God with all your heart, and all your mind, and all your soul, and you shall be saved :)
