cuddlesbe, I am no buddhist but i believe they worship God through the statue, the same as a christian worshiping God through a cross. I have met Buddha and I tell you he is one with GOD.

Krishna to you and Jesus tomorrow. Yes Hindu as just a way of life with important Deity's Brahma and Krishna and others. Every religion should be studied with an open mind. Monotheism just one God has not been the norm in many cultures. Greek Romans Egyptians and Incas Aztecs all celebrated many Gods. Here is what I use, there Gods are all wrapped up in my God.

yes... everyone and everything is equal. And you are wrong... We Buddhists do not worship Buddha... Buddha isn't even a god. Get your facts straight. Buddha is a teacher. We meditate in front of him to remind us where the path is to get to nirvana like he did.

WRONG! The Hindu faith is rooted in the belief of thousands of gods, reincarnation and numerous things GOD STRICLY FORBIDS.
You, Sir, do not know anything about the God of the Bible and his teachings about guarding the conscience, worshipping other gods and false religion.

well my question is this for you, is this hindu mediatation doing anything for you? is it giving you peace and joy? is it producing faith in our life? thats the answer you are looking for, no different than anything else, there are millions of people on this earth practicing many different religions, and ill even be blunt here as well, Adolph Hitler has a religion too! He killed and tortured millions of people, the questiion is is all of these doing anything for these people? i look around everyday and see people smile and laught, but are they at peace with themselves? so thats what i look at when i practice any religion, are these people afraid to die? you see all of this is things i looked at, and evenutally i went to the bible teachings and this proved to me to be the true one, but you will have to experience that for yourself. i cannot prove that to you.

based on history you can be a christian and.....
you can be a racist slave owner
you can be a pedophile
you can kill
you can torture
you can be lots of things AND be a christian
No offense intended just stating my opinion.
religious preference does not necessarily dictate moral actions
