What is it that makes some PC users hate Microsoft so much but still use their products, when there are alternatives such as Linux?
Just curious.

There are only three things I hate about Microsoft..Windows Media Player, Internet Explorer, and WinXP Service Pack 2!

Because despite Microsoft's flaws, many users still see their products as being far superior to Linux and other alternatives.

Maybe hate, maybe envy, and others may say other words.
People still using Microsoft products because:
(1) Not available yet on other platforms.
(2) Drivers for: printers and other hardwares.
(3) Not easy as Windows to use.
Mac, on the other hand, is fast catching up but they still expensive. As you seen on their ad, more than hundred thousand viruses for pc, 0 (zero) for Mac.
Given space and the availability/features of the above, I would prefer to use LINUX.

Because Microsoft comes out with good programs besides OSes (is that a word) Please also hate MIcrosoft because they make users go through hell like when the own a legal version of windows and the genuine tihng pop up and wont let you ****** to anything!!!!

maybe because its operating system is bloated and vulnerable to malicious code.
