nah, what's done is done, don't stress brother out any more, there is nothing he can do about it except suicide or murder , you don't want that on your back do you? there isn't many things worse for a man than to be in a position where he can't do anything about bad news.

If he lost his rights to the kid in a court battle against your parents, I imagine he would know that your parents are raising him, so I'm a bit confused as to what it is he wouldn't know.
My advice? Don't bring up the topic, but if your brother asks about the kid, tell him the truth.

I don't think you should say anything. It's obvious that he doesn't care about his son so why does he even deserve to know what is going on? He could still be a part of his son's life but he chose not to be. You have stayed out of it this long just continue to stay out of it.

I think staying out of it is the best thing for everyone. I realize you want your family to get along, but also your nephew needs what is best for him and it seems like causing chaos would not help. Maybe if you got a family psychologist to talk to all of them it could help. Best of luck to you!

No you shouldn't tell him - he was the one who lost contact with his son (and parents) and if he was really concerned enough to know he would already.
Also since you managed to stay out of it in the past there doesn't seem to be any reason for you to jeopardize your relationship with your parents.

I think if your brother really cared about his child he wouldnt have lost contact just because your parents have gaurdianship of him, i think your father is right!! you shouldn't tell him, you should stay out of it... if he really had the right to know, he wouldn't have dropped his son like a bad habit!!! Sorry but it's true!! Let sleeping dogs sleep. it really isn't any of your buisness!! Stay out of it!! Good luck!!

I think you should stay out of it and not say anything. Don't learn to keep you mouth shut that hard way like I did.
