I know what you mean, Matt. Wife and daughter lost in a car wreck 12 yrs. ago, been doing it alone since. I don't even know how to start again, but lately I've been thinking --- well, maybe. You see, when, inevitably, these things come out with some women, poof! Gone.( I, by the way, wasn't involved in the accident ) Something about they can't compete with a lost love?? Anyway, I don't need a girlfriend, but I'd sure love to hold a woman and feel the ecstasy of her holding me, and loving me once again. -- Rat

People who stay alone for a long time live their dream. They live goals and accomplish them. Life is how u do it. Each individual has their own world and only that person has access to it. Maybe the person doesn't want to let no one it cuz their not ready. A single can have an active life if he or she chooses for it to be that way!

No. And way are you alone? How old are you. If your not over at least 23 you have little to worry about. If your over 30 it is time to find out why.

Are you afraid to make contact with them? When you do do they soon run off.

Way to many things here to speculate about so not really able to help here.

i guess. i wish it weren't so and try to cling onto crushes (obviously not even i am buying that one), but every now and then i remember that i have nothing to really worry about, that my life is fine the way it is and that it still goes on will or without a special someone.

it all comes down to enjoying what you have, and prioritizing what is really more important to you. as for the rest, we all have to learn how to addapt to the big variety of situations
