Walking will only build up calf muscles if you are eating more calories than you are burning. On an annorexic diet such as this the body's metabolism will slow way down so that you will not lose weight as fast. If your protein intake is not sufficent your body will hang onto the body fat while burning muscle tissue. So, if you are trying to get rid of muscle while keeping all of your body fat this is a pretty good way to do it.

I personally don't think that it is possible to shrink muscles by consuming less calories...

Also, to stop using those extra gained muscles suddenly might make them less stiff and look saggy.

The loose skin is probably caused by quick weight loss and lack of exercising at the same time.

I can't really give you solid info, (and I suggest not taking answers here seriously) you are better off asking a specialist, or an expert trainer about those things so you wouldn't go into the wrong direction and do some serious or permanent harm to your body.

Please consult an expert.

Depending on their body size and what was already in their stomach from the day before:
1) 48-72 hours
2.) 24-48 hours
3.)Quick weight loss. If the 37# was lost quickly, yes. 47# too. Probably over 6-8 months, yes, simply because that much weight occupies alot of space, and the skin is only so elastic.
4.) Not normally, but it depends on the amount of weight being carried.

Hope this helped. Good Luck.

It wouldn't take long at all for your muscles to start deteriorating if you only had 270 or 340 calories.

Loose skin is caused by losing a lot of fat in a short period of time. For example, losing 20 kilos in 2 week.s

Walking builds up all muscles, especially if you move your arms and hold your stomach in the whole time.

what? i don't really understand your question because the wording and grammar is confusing, not being rude or anything. but why would you want to shrink your muscles? well, that happens if you don't use the muscle. if you don't use it, it gets smaller/shrinks. and i don't think calories play a role in "shrinking" muscles. so if you want a specific muscle to shrink, just "don't use it" or dont use it often.
