I suspect this is some sort of inference that people who don't believe must concede that what happened in the Bible is accurate simply because our calendar is based on the amount of time since Christ's birth. Based on this logic, then I guess that we must all believe in gods of the Norse and Roman tradition too, because that's where most of our names for our months and days of the week come from.
