You can not save your own soul. Only Jesus Christ can do that. He was sent to die for our sins. Accept Jesus into your life as Lord and Savior.
One of the greatest passages in the bible is John 3:16.
For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not parish but have everlasting life.

You have a choice :
1.) Attempt to live a 100% sinless life from the moment you are born to the moment you die. (Note : a great many have tried, and there is a 100% failure ratio among those who are not God Himself)
2.) Put your faith in Jesus Christ who did that very thing for you successfully instead.

Get on your knees and pray to the lord, admit that your a sinner and accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior and accept the gift of eternal life. He has given it all to us, all we have to do is accept his gift. Talk to your pastor and he/she will explain it all to you.
