You could change doctors. Did your doctor give you anything different for pain? Why do you feel you need something so addictive that your body builds up a resistance to? Oxycontin is a short term solution.

oxycontin is PHYSICALLY ADDICTIVE that is probably why it was not prescribed again. Go see your doctor for a different perscription.
OxyContin, like morphine, has a high potential for abuse. It is supplied in a controlled-release dosage form and is intended to provide up to 12 hours of relief from moderate to severe pain. The tablet must be taken whole and only by mouth. When the tablet is crushed and its contents are injected intravenously or snorted into the nostrils, the controlled release mechanism is defeated and a potentially lethal dose of oxycodone is released immediately.

Because of the ongoing problem of OxyContin abuse and diversion, FDA has met with DEA, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Agency, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, Purdue, Inc., and others. FDA will continue to monitor reports of abuse, misuse, and diversion of OxyContin and other opioids and will work with other federal agencies and drug manufacturers to help ensure that these important drugs remain available to appropriate patients.

If your doctor dc your oxycontin he must of had a good reason. He must have thought you didnt need it any more. It is very addictive. Talk with your doctor and tell him how you feel. Maybe he can come up with a different perscription. The only way to get this legit is with a doctors perscription.

there are websites available on-line where you have to send in your medical records and go thru a on-line exam with an MD. they will write a script and send it in to the pharmacy you choose. there are many of them out there and if you check with the pharmacy licensing board you can be pretty sure they are legit. look thru and read the small print. i have used one myself and my meds were delivered by fed ex to my home.
