Probably about the same amount of time....I met a man on-line who lived five hours away. We decided to meet half-way from each other in a town where they were having a festival/regatta. We spent the day walking around the town, looking in antique shops, watching the boat races and just plain old talking to each other. No sex...just a day of meeting someone new.
We decided the distance was too much and wished each other well. That was it, but it was a fun day.

My longest date lasted 16 hours. We met and then went to a party and pretty much just stayed awake talking until I had to leave that next morning and now we are married.

Our first date was scheduled for a Saturday night. I got the flu and tried to call to cancel but he didn't get the message. He showed up and I looked horrible. I told him he should go home so he didn't catch it. But instead he went out and got me chicken noodle soup and a pizza for himself. He never left.
The 'Date' ended 12 1/2 years later in a divorce court, because I screwed up. I really miss him too.

My bf at the time took me to Niagara falls and then out to an island where he took a picinic lunch out (that he had made!) and we ate on a blanket by a small waterfall. We went out to an arcade after and played a few games of air hockey and went through a maze... it was tons of fun!

we got married... it's been 15 years and counting.
Our first date was to the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz. Then we walked along the beach while flying a kite.
