I dont really think they HATE them I know I dont. I do believe in GOD and I dont go to church alot due to the hypocrits who do! One minute they r in church the next outside smoking a joint. Hmmmmm not very good! Or they tend to judge others for what they do like they r soooo perfect. Noone has a right to judge anyone else and I just see too much of it in church. A prayer said alone means alot more than one said in a group. Do u know why? Because if you r praying alone- u r not doing it just to impress those around you- u r doing it from the heart when u r alone in prayer. I dont believe u have to go to a big ol fancy church that cost a million dollars to build just to praise and believe in a higher power! Also alot of them try entirely too hard to push God down others throats.

Part of the problem is that a lot of people who say they are Christians don't really act like it, and they give the whole lot a bad name. However, even if you live like a Christian (instead of just talking like one), there will still be people who hate you. Jesus said, "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you." John 15:18

It isnt difficult to understand that the people who would rather dwell on the things of this world that be accepting of God would hate anyone who does.... but as Jesus said... we cant be suprised.... the world hated him first.... so that just puts me in some mighty fine company :)

Most people who hate christians probably do so because of the type of christianity we tend to see in western civilization. It seems to be going from a stand point of following jesus' example to judging and condemning people. Jesus healed the sick and treated prostititues with respect. The so called christians I know judge and condemn and blame imperfect people for the problems of society.

I think unfortunately there are some Christians who lack compassion and have a lot of spiritual pride. People tend to judge people by the group. I've been a Christian since I was 10. I have a lot of friends who are not Christians. Their opinions of me matter to me. The opinions of those who don't know me don't bother me.

Please. Non-Christians certainly don't have a monopoly on hate. I've seen plenty of vitriol come from so-called Christians at this site. I've seen enough condemnation and invocations of hell and damnation spew forth from these people to know that when it comes to hateful behavior, nobody has the market cornered.

I hate the ones who have no respect for anyone who is not a christian and they are rude and push their religion on others when its unwanted. They are annoying too! I do not hate "all" Christians only the ones who deserve it.

People hate Christians because light exposes darkness. They want to live in sin and not follow what is right in God's eyes.
