Why does the Blood in my Fingertips seem to Bulge out When I throw a Baseball?

The faster I throw, the centrifugal force seems to push blood into my fingertips, is this ok?

i had this sort of happen in my middle finger but it was because i cut my nails too short. I have never heard of that happening before though.

In the details, you show that you know the answer. The same centrifugal effect that gets the ball flying toward the batter works on the blood in the arm (and the arm itself) as well. Except that the blood is held in by the skin. Professional pitchers have a special massuer who works on their arms (to work the blood back toward the center of the body) in a private room immediately after the game.
