high school, collegiate wrestlers do this all the time on a weekly basis.

they starve themselves, they exercise like crazy for a week, then they eat and drink like crazy on the weekends (right after weigh-ins). they end up gaining all that weight right back like a yo-yo.

try making slow, steady, consistent adjustments to your eating habits, while maintaining good exercise.

don't over indulge yourself on the weekends or whatever day you give yourself rest.

I used to do that too but it was doing a job on my overall health so I stopped. I didn't think about losing weight for 6 months.

During that time I mentally prepared myself to lose the 25 lbs. I needed to lose. I got a food and exercise plan that I thought would work for me and set a "start date".

When the "start date" came I was ready. It took me 4 months and I did it. I've kept it off for 18 months now.

Maybe this will work for you.....good luck

Cut back on your exercize until you have an amount you can do every day. Be consistant. Make food changes one at a time. so you can live with it. My husband started eating grits with cheese instead of egg mcmuffins for breakfast, then he started walking the dog each night. He's lost 16 pounds in 3 weeks so far.

You are not choosing a diet that is right for you. Just try making some better food choices without the pressure of a "diet".
Good luck!!!
