No, witchcraft is legal in the United States. It is a type of religion and protected by the First Amendment. There is a group which wants to amend the Constitution to outlaw witchcraft, but I don't think it will be likely to succeed.

No that is not correct in the United States yet. It was in the 1700's called the burning times when many ppl were burned at the stake for witchcraft even though many had nothing to do with it.

Not in America. It's completely legal to practice witchcraft, so long as you're not violating anyone's rights, disrupting traffic, endangering people, etc.

I think I understand what youre saying, it's rather hard to prove anything, and unless you live in hyper-christian kansas, most courts have better things to do than piss with trivial maters. Besides youre still protected by freedom of speech and religion

Not in the USA.
we have freedom of religion.

The worst I ever hear of is sometimes churches get wind of an open ritual in a public park and they go and read bibles and pray for the witches and tell them they will burn in hell.

Not in this century. Not yet anyway. (I am assuming you mean in the US or other western nation)
The way things are going though, we may again have witch burnings in the future. Regression sucks
