I honestly don't the answer. Your heart must be in a turmoil. What a hard thing to live through. You need to make a choice..but why is your ex an ex? You need to ask your self that. What qualities does the man in your life have that drew you to him?Is he a good man that doesn't lie to you or cheat on you? Does he love you? And the ex how about him is he worthy of your love? I am getting as confused as you ...sorry but these questions will help you make up your mind.

I have never met a woman whom I didn't feel both love, and lust for, instantly. Being that way, I know that it is up to me to control the situation.

I know it is simply my great admiration for the woman as a mother, a sister, and a companion, that makes me love each and everyone.

I know that it is my happy male hormones, that makes me lust for each and everyone.

In both situations, I exercise great manners, good hosting, and pour them another drink, offer another liquor candy, and tell another ribald joke!

But, whenever a relationship ended, I forever only look with love upon her, if ever we should meet. I know that we both gave our best, but, it was not meant to be. Each is but a single pearl upon the great necklace of my life.

Great memories abound, but, I must live in the present, and be true to the current mate. As Jimmy Carter said, "we all lust in our heart", but, we must keep it there.

Get a fix on your bearings, and stay on the course. Don't wander over shoals where you were once stranded! (My Norwegian fishing Ancestors, the Vikings!)

You can't be in love with two people at the same time. You are mistaking feelings of lust or excitement at the prospect of a new relationship as love.

I do not understand this attachment to the notion that you can love only one person in this world. You can love your parents. You can love your children. You can love friends. Why is it that you think you can only love one person romantically?

It is not easy, but if you learn balance, you can open your heart generously.
