I think it's a sign that our world is becoming sicker and sicker. Kids aren't being given the love, attention or discipline they need and now we're all starting to pay the price. Don't teach your kids right from wrong and this is what happens. We heard the warnings for years and we all ignored them. We called those who warned us "paranoid" and "conservatives" and it seems they were right all along.

It is a sign the world is getting closer and closer to the end!!! God said spare the rod spoil the child. Well guess what some where down the line some smart individules decided it would be called abuse if you corrected or spanked your child this started the domino effect of the child telling the parent i'll call childrens services on you if you touch me the parents scared the child gets his or her way and now we have no control. The drugs take over because as parents we don't know were our kids are because we are either a single household and have to work two jobs cuz of no child support OR we are two parent household both working cuz we have to pay the bills and keep up with the jones and lets not forget give the brats everything they ask for so they wont hate us and maybe turn on us out of rage. It's sickning kids are depressed and for what hell they haven't even begun to live life yet? live long enough, become a parent then you MIGHT have the right to be depressed. I have a child that when she was 15 thought she would pull that crap on me I dialed the # for her I also told her she better hope the social worker took her with her cuz if not when the lady was done writting her report and left I was going to tear her a-- up again, guess what the worker told her she had better be glad she had parents that cared and loved her, and told my daughter to straighten up. It should have started at home the parents are part to blame we have teenagers and young adults that are so lost due to lack of LOVE and guidence.

It's scary....especially having one child in high school and 2 in middle school. This crap didn't happen when I went to school. Of course, parents and schools had a lot more leverage when I went to school too. Schools could paddle you and did....then when you got home, you got it again. Now teachers can't touch the students without being sued and parents can't touch their own children without child protection services getting involved and wanting to take them away from you.
Why are parents keeping guns in their house? I won't have a gun in my house....not with kids in the house at all. Too many accidents can happen and it's not worth that risk.
Where's the security? How are these kids getting in with the stuff? I know we didn't have much security when I went to school, but times have changed. Put metal detectors in these schools or something.
My answer is that when you take God out of schools and you take the control rights away from the schools and parents, you are asking for trouble......that's our government though. Hard headed to the core.

I think it's sick! Anyone who would shoot an Innocent child is a,..there's no word for a person like that, and then after they've done these horrible things they can't even be responsible for what they've done, they go and off themselves, what cowards. It makes me question how easy it would be for someone to walk into my own child's school.

Glad you asked. I think it sucks. The only solution to this crap would be to issue medium to large caliber hand guns to all the students. This way. any troublemakers will be quickly over powered. Who wants to pull a gun on 400 other armed students? No one, that's the beauty of it!

I think that it is sad and I wish people wouldn't do things like that. I just hope that it never happens in my High School.

Confused! I understand what depression feels like. But I do NOT understand why these people, who are suffering from depression, get so angry and violent, and then take their violence to schools and attack girls. What is with that?

They are all senseless tragedies and we don't need to be discussing them like this. We need to all have more respect for the dead, and let the families greve in peace, without turning their losses into a global freakshow.
