I was at the mall, there were two girls in seperate groups. One girl was 7ish and her skirt was so short it didnt even cover her underware,no kidding,I wanted to slap her mother in the face! That poor little girl being subjected to perverts bc her mother wont dress her properly. The other girl about 9 had a beach skirt on with a tie(not a sarong) it wasnt tied tightly and you could see half her butt and underware. Have people no morals? And whats up with little girls wearing short dresses to a park with no shorts underneath? Are people this clueless to all the pervs? At the store there was a girl about 12 in very tight jeans and this old man was staring at her butt and this was JEANS,not even underware. Parents: Put some clothes on your kids! You know who you are!

Some parents are just plain stupid. Have you seen that yet...they have LOW RISE PANTIES for 7 year olds at Wal-Mart! This **** just makes me want to vomit!
I`m sorry but that is TRASH. They are raising their little girls to dress like hookers, what is cute about that??
Do they think that it looks just so adorable?
Parents like that are the reason that abortion is legal.
Teach your children some values, DON`T teach them how to be a sex-object. I can not imagine a 7 year old want to dress like that, and even if she did, YOU DON`T HAVE TO BUY IT!!

If one of my daughters EVER tried to walk out of our house like you discribed either me or my husband would kill em. You can't blame the kids for it after all they are just kids, they see it every where they go at school, the stores, other kids, stars etc. It is all about showing it off and the parents are getting it for them because it is easier to get it than to stand up to a kid and tell them no. I just recently went shopping for clothes with my 14 year old daughter and it seemed the whole day it was either no, not in this life or like he**. A 12 yo girl just got kidnapped, raped and beaten in our area by a 17 yo boy, when they took him in he kept telling the cops she asked for it didn't they see the way she was dressed. It is a shame a child has to go through this because an adult won't stand up to them and tell them no. My girls can hate me and although they aren't covered head to toe they are covered and those t-shirts advertising sex and everything else are banned from my house as well.

yet another person in full agreement here ..................we use the term prosit tots..................BUT this is not a new problem when my daughter was alot younger the spice girls where all the rage and OMG the clothes they had for the little ones was disgusting, I actually ended up taking classes to be able to make her clothes so she would have some degree of modesty.when I asked why all the stuff in the shops where boob tubes etc for 5 yrs old kids I was told ' BUT that's what the mums buy...........I told her nope that's all you bloody well have in here so there is NO choice.

IMO the Mary Kate and Ashley range are getting pretty grim of late

My daughter is 17 and I still have a say in what she wears.............I will tell her to change or cover up if it is too revealing..............

Another one that agrees with you.

I dont have a daughter but am disgusted at the sights of these mini-hoes.

As a parent I wouldn't dress any child in clothes that are meant to make them look older.

In Australia they have actually put on the market , padded bras for girls 7 years and younger.

My nieces (who are now adults) wore leggings or tracksuit pants for all play times. They only wore dresses if they went to proper sit down parties, or visiting relatives. A girl needs to be taught how to behave like a little girl when they do wear dresses.

everyone here is right about this.i have an 8 year old daughter,i will never let her or her mother dress her like that, not to go in public.a pair of shorts and a bikini top at the park or the lake is one thing.
but there is one thing i think people are overlooking.a pedophile is a pedophile.no matter how u dress a kid a pedophile will look.parents just have to be aware of the surroundings and know where ur kids are at all time.
my daughterd oes not go outside by herself.she does not like me for not letting her go out alone, but it is for her safety.

I totally agree. I don't know what's gotten into this world. Maybe I'm old fashioned. I still believe that you leave things to imagination because imagination can be so much better. I believe young girls shouldn't advertise. Guys will want to be with those "half dressed" girls for one thing and one thing only. They'll forget them in the morning. It's the ones who have pride in themselves and show themselves to him only in privacy that the guys want to take home to meet mom and want to start a family with one day. I have this battle often with my daughter (who's 17) and she knows that as long as she lives with us, she will cover up.

I agree. I have a 7 year old girl and I dress her like one. Cover everything so she looks like a 7 year old not a 18 year old

i totally agree. i have a two year old, and even at this age i worry about what i put her in because of all the pervs out there. and when she gets older, you can be damn sure she won't be wearing anything like that. we should be able to slap these parents and put some sense in them.

I am so glad someone else feels that way.Its like saying PEDIFILES:LOOK AT MY CHILD! I have had this problem with my stepdaughters mother. When she visits her 4 days a month, only god knows what she will have on in the summer, and shes 7! Weve argued about this forever.Thank you for having morals and noticing this too.
