You have a tough dilema. Both Christianity and Islam come from Jewish origens. Start there and then continue with whatever agrees the most with what you learn from Judaism. If there is a difference, then you should know that there is a problem.
Also remember to associate yourself with a group that faithfully ractices the doctrins that are taught. (If you choose christianity, make sure that the church teaches and follows all of the commandments, and that it does not rationalize away what the Bible teaches, and the church should not follow traditions that go against the teachings of the Bible.)

Statistically speaking you are probably going to hell anyways. If there are 100 different religions and you pick one then odds that you picked the right one are 1 in 100 or 1%. While the chances you picked the wrong one are 99 - 100 or 99%.
So when you get to hell look me up.

First of all, I don't know who told you, you would go to hell if you don't pick a religion. God goes by the heart of the person, not what religion you are into. That decision has to be yours, if you are not sure, pray to God and ask Him where He wants you to be. Not what other "people" what you to be. Find your strength in Him, he will guide you, but if you let him lead. I have a saying and it goes like this. God is my guide, Jesus is the light that leads the way. Don't worry about what other ppl are telling you about hell, let God lead you,pray to him, and He will tell you where to go.

Truly you don't need religion to get to Heaven, Just be close to him, pray often, just talk to him, eventually you will grow close, it takes time, and God would start communicating in many ways.
