This is just a question of interest, hope no one takes offense from this.
I am interested in hearing from those who has strong faith.
What happens if tomorrow another God shows up in the world and tell all you faithfuls all these years you have been following the devil's teaching instead of gods, and god exists but does not love us and want to have have anything to do with us.

Faith does NOT fail YOU.

YOU fail the FAITH.

Faith does not determine YOU.

YOU determine the Faith.

Your Faith is YOUR testimony.

Why do so many people ask "so what if this happens?" There are an infinite number of far fetched scenarios we could speculate on. You may as well ask what would happen if tomorrow roaches revealed their hidden intellegence and subjected us to slavery in order to build a giant landing pad for the mother ship of their planet 4 billion lightyears away?

What happened when God sent plagues to Egypt to the Egyptians? Not much. Pharoah still refused to acknowledge that he was wrong and the God of the Isrealites was real and in contol. People of true faith have a die hard diligence to that faith. Isrealites made a golden calf to worship shortly after they crossed the Red Sea with a wall of water on both sides while they followed a pillar of fire. A stubborn heart rejects God easy enough. A person of faith, ture faith, believes what he believes despite any form persuasion away from that faith.

I could specualte all day on the "what if's", but I know of the "when" that God has planned and I am ready.

I think that's already happened. People come on the scene all the time saying that my faith is pointless, weak, and that I'm delusional. Deists believe that there is a God but that he doesn't have anything to do with man.
How do I feel when this happens?...
strong in my faith.

I believe when faith fails you that you become an atheist. the devil is not the way to go, since fear is the path to the darkside (ha) and you must be fearing something if you are seeking a home with the devil. Find faith in yourself first and all else will fallinto place. This from a person brought up Catholic, married to another Catholic OUTSIDE of the church.

My faith is in science, not a concoction of myths, fantasies, legends, and fairy tales, commonly known as 'religion'. Science's objective goal is to learn as much about the physical world as possible. Science can be proven, and parts of it disproven, which eliminates the possibility that a group of scientists will cling to a theory long after it has been disproven. Science will never fail me. It might be wrong at times, but whenever it's proven wrong, it almost always has another solution.

Then you never truly had it to begin with.
God is our light, our water, our rock and our only chance. If we don't call out God's name ~ whose do we call?
No I'm sorry true faith is like the most solid foundation ~ and the "event" you speak of will be the challenge of the rough waters trying to break it.

You're asking if some other fake god showed up, would I be led from my belief in my current fake god to follow the new one? Answer - No, there are no such things as gods.

This will happen when the prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) will come back (Second Coming). All Christians will be shocked, because Jesus (pbuh) will deny that he is the son of God, and he will ask everybody to follow Islam - his religion.

Then I would be thankful that I have spent time studying so that I could recognize your "new god" as the devil and not be disheartened. I know who God is. As Christ said "my sheep know my voice". I know my master. I would not fall for an imposter's voice.
