Please don't give me the "looks are not important, its whats inside that counts" speech. I realize for a long term relationship other factors need to be taken under consideration. But in the intial stages, can you see yourself hooking up with somebody who you are repulsed by?

When I first see someone, I don't say "wow, he must have a really good personality"... I go by looks the first time around. There has to be some physical attraction, otherwise I'll just resent the guy.

No I could not. Looks are part of the package, along with personality. In terms of a relationship, you should never settle in terms of anything. If its an issue for you now, imagine how it will be 3 years from now if her personality got kind of old. You need both.

If you think hooking up with someone you're not attracted to is ok you're pretty dense because even the most unattractive person is entitled to respect and an honest relationship.

That has happened to me!!!! I started going out with a guy that I really didn't feel anything physical for... But he was so charming and funny!!!
Needless to say it didn't work. Each time he is going to kiss you you're like "not agaaiiiinnn"...that's just wrong girl.... and non sustainable in the long run

I usually am attracted to people that I really like. If I am taken with them, they look good to me and I don't really care what anyone else thinks.

damn hard question... i dotn want to be mean or sound wrong but an "ugly" person would have to have this awesome personality for me to like "be" with them...
who ever said looks are not important was either blind or ugly...
looks do matter but onyl to a certain extent..

yes u can but it wont last because others will turn u on and how will ure love feel about that? how will u live with it? its best to be with someone with whom u have physical attraction to...it doesnt have to be crazy, just anything...something has to be there

No,I can't see myself doing that. That may sound really shallow but its really how most people are,their attention is caught by looks and not really personality.
