What is needed is more tolerance of other's Gods, religions or beliefs.
World is definitely one planet under humans.
As long as some try to be holier than others God will not help.

Not if I have anything to say about it. For one thing, there are way to many differences in the nations for the world to ever be one nation, even without the charged issue of which god we would be under.

It could, but it would take a lot of violence to bring that about...that is the way of religion since God is NEVER around to point to who is right and who is wrong...the only way religious people have to "prove" they are right is by simply killing anyone who dares to have a different opinion.
The only way for Catholics to get Mormons to stop talking about that Book of Mormon would be to kill all of the Mormons...there is no such thing as Compromise between religious fanatics...and yes, they are all fanatics.
Just look at the rift that the queers have caused, churches getting spilit apart because some people just simply HATE homosexuals...christians especially will NEVER tolerate that which they hate, and christians hate a lot of things...they even hate the fact that I am free to tell people that christians hate more than they love.
Yes, in order to have one world under a christian or muslim god...a lot of senseless murder would have to take place, something both sides are very good at doing.

Never...it's a world, not a nation. But if you mean united under God...the answer still is no.

Soon, the earth will be one under the Kingdom of God
2Pe 3:13 But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

It's not the differences in God. It's the differences in the people. If you think you can get seven people, let alone seven billion people to agree on anything, then yeah, it could happen.

It will be when the prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) will come and rule the world under the banner of Islam.
When he comes, he will deny that he was the son of God, and then all Christians will convert to Islam.
