Only for points. They do not care about others and perhaps
not even about themselves. I sincerely think there should be
and umpire in Q&A to take points away from offenders who
answer one four letter word and nothing else. As you well say,
some answers are only going to make things worse for some
who really need help, so if these answers are offensive and
disturbing take ten points off their score, the rules of this Q&A
are quite clear and I wonder how many have read them. I have
and it is at Yahoo‘s sole discretion to go as far as cancelling email
accounts. It will cost a few even headed guys to follow this
activity but, certainly we will be rid of them once and for all. The
rules even mention "correct English" is one of the rules, and only this
would get rid of 75% of offenders. I have already reported these
problems to Yahoo and received nothing in reply. So my friend,
I thank you for your question which stands out like a sore thumb
in the system and perhaps, if we have more complaints, Yahoo
may revise or enforce the rules. This site is supposed to be
helpful and educational, but we have more offenders than anything
else. Sorry for the long reply, but it is on purpose to try and draw
attention. Yahoo, give us some Umpires, please! My sincere
thanks to you, and perhaps, to Yahoo if they pay attention to our
woes. Cheers - Iain Ritchie

Some people have no compassion or patience for anyone with a mental health problem. I recently started recovering from severe depression. All my sister said during the entire time was, you might feel better if you got a job. She knew I had trouble even getting out of bed. I do not really understand people like that. If they do not have any compassion or understanding, then they should just shut their mouths. People can be so cruel.

Well come on, be honest what do you expect? tea and sympathy? if all you ever do is whinge about what a bad time you're having and how you cant cope with life on an open forum for all to see then you might as well jump off that 10 storey building, if you expect anyone to do anything other than take the piss then theres something seriously wrong with your head.

Perhaps they are tired of someones excuses for doing nothing to help themselves, yet blame everyone else for all of their woes- then seek help only to get the drugs they need to sell them to other people for cash; that was my last experience with a mental health patient, and on top of it she manipulated and used me and everyone in her family- people get bitter after so long and so much of it- all the time. As a result, the campassion for, and trust in the person vanishes. We all know not all of the mentally ill population is manipulative and lazy, but people will vent where they chose and writing online may help them deal with the stress of having to deal with such a person. Sorry if you have been offended by someone, but the mentally ill must try to put themselves in the healthy people' s shoes once in a while, after all most of us are trying to help those in need or have tried to, and are constantly asked to put the shoe on the other foot for them.

Alot of people don't take mental illness serious. If they have never had to deal with it for themselves or for a family member. You would need to just disregard the cruelty of others on that subject. I know it is heartbreaking as mental illness or mental health issues can at times be a matter of life or death.

As Brucie used to say
What do points make....?
There really are some people about who are heartless and stupid and think it's all a big joke. I've suffered from depression big time and know how influenced you can be by such stupid answers, so it's really not that great or clever. All you can really say in return is they are the ones that should jump off the 10 floor building!!

Because it's so easy to reply like that...it's just a joke to some people.
I suffer from mental health problems, but I'd never ask anything here about it...even innocuous questions receive unhelpful answers.

you aren't any further an expert till you receive your professional license. you won't be able to get your professional license till you've put in a particular type of years operating on your container of expertises and performance surpassed a licensing exam. this applies to docs, engineers, architects, and so on. till then, you're nevertheless no longer qualified to make professional statements. Legally, that individual might want to be stripped from ever operating in that container again if he or she is discovered doing any paintings and falsely claiming to be a professional without a license. Being employed or no longer (someone might want to be laid off from paintings or be out of work because of an damage) is irrelevant.

I agree and that is just irresponsible. Is this society that hooked on whats in it for me??Some people have no idea what or how they can change lives in a single word or joke!Hopefully there are more compassionate and caring people out there than that. I would have to Hope!
