The highest recorded temperature was at El Azizia,Libya on September 13,1922, 136 Fahrenheit(58 Centigrade)

well i remeber being the california desert near death valley and i remeber it being close to 128 degrees (f) if i am not mistaken death valley is one of the hottest places in the world try searching wikipedia.com for the hottest recorded temp
