Definitely; the experiences of the medieval Christian Mystics can attest to that. One had a vision of being penetrated by Christ. Catherine of Sienna had a vision that she was married to Christ with his foreskin as the wedding ring.
I'm not trying to be offensive; these are actual experiences of actual Mystics, such as Hadewijch and Mechtild of Magdeburg.
