dont worry about scaring him off. Guys and girls never stay friends. As soon as you or him start dating someone else you will probably never talk again. by the way, girls should be the ones hitting on guys these days anyways. A guy will date anyone they find attractive. Its the girls who are choosy.

Say Hi! Be friendly, make him laugh, stare at him a bit, hug him when you see him and try your best to look good and sexy. When you're attractive, you're looks will do the rest for you, don't say it right away that you like him. I bet he'll beat you to it if you're the one he's looking for.
