I mean most of them are not players, they just want to spend alot of time with their g/f's. What is wrong with that? You don't hear guys complaining about women being clingy. Clingy guys love their g/f's, and would do anything for them, so why treat your clingy b/f life dirt, or dump them? I think it's wrong!!!

usually the less attractive person in the relationship is the clingy one. They know they scored and dont' ever wanna let it go. The attractive one knows they could do better and want to keep options open, that's why they "feel" the cling.

Clingy isn't for everybody!

If you know that your a clingy guy perhaps you should specify that you want a clingy girlfriend. That way, your not disappointed and the girl knows what to expect from you, so she is less inclined to do you wrong or dump you.

But A LOT of women prefer Confidence and independence in a man. Some women want the chase of wondering, is he thinking about me? and wow he really has it together on his own. They like a man that is complete and strong and often misjude Clingyness as Neediness, which could give an immature impression like, "Gosh he needs me for everything which could turn into resentmen rather than excitement.

And of course there are plenty of women that would love to feel like their man needs them and always wants to cling to them and be under them (even when they act like they don't like to their friends).

But in reality Your woman shouldn't define you, she should enhance you! and if you are being clingy with a woman who prefers and independant type of guy you are setting yourself up for a problem and rejection. Nobody wants that, so if you know that you are a clingy guy, you can make mention when you meet women that your very physical and really enjoy being close. That way they can chose whether they like that (and will date you) or they won't like it and you both can be glad that you didn't waste any time finding that out!

Now don't go scaring girls off, because clingy & jealousy often go hand and hand and if a woman is independant and has a healthy social life (friends, gatherings etc.) outside of you, she will be less inclined to date you if you are the type that would rather she stay close to you than go out with her family or friends.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, Its ok to love but to Cling is not always invited.

Thats why its important to keep it real about yourself from the gate, that way everybody knows how to roll with eachother, they know what is acceptable and what is not. Then they choose to be a part of it, or to part with it!

I hope that this information is helpful to you!
Take care.

Well, I don't think anyone should be treated like dirt but it depends on the girl. I personally like the clingy ones as I like to spend a lot of time with my guy. But he also understands that I need my space too and he is very good about that. The trick is to find someone who you are comfortable with and who is comfortable with you.

I wouldn't want a clingy boyfriend. I would prefer one who agrees to spend time with me only when it's convenient for both of us. I need my alone time.

Excuse me, I don't know where you're from, but guys hate clingy girls and vice versa. Who wants to be in a relationship where you have no breathing room. You're saying that you'd be okay with a girl that questions your every move and calls you every five minutes to check on you? You'd be okay with a girl that never wants you to go out with your friends unless she gets to go too? Girls feel the same way about guys too. Everyone needs personal space in a relationship or else it's unhealthy.

Well, for me, when I'm in a relationship I also need a lot of space. Clingy guys just ruin that space and they tend to not be worth it.

well most girls dont like clingy bfs b/c their over protective and most of them wont let their girl talk to another boy unless its absolutly necessary!!! If u think ur too clingy then you should let loose and let her talk, not flirt with other dudes and maybe she'll like you more!

it all depends on the woman.. they have to have their space just as much as a man does.. It is okay to wanna have sometime to theirselves.. why does the b/f always want to be around the g/f.. does he not trust here.. if they both feel they always need to be around each other then maybe it is the beginning of a love that don't die but it takes time for both to be in love with each other..
