I want to know if the carrot would change size? If it is smooth, rough, or if the texture is the same?

You would have a salty carrot. Leave it in there long enough and you have a sorta pickled carrot.

If you added beef,onions and stock cubes....a nice stew. The carrot would get eaten with it
