Of course, education is more important. IF you don't do well in HS, you won't get a scholarship to go to college. When you do go to college, you are going to carry this huge loan with you that will probably take you 30 years to pay for. I am at that stage right now. You can find true love when you are a little more mature. We all know that men mature at a much later age. If you don't want to get your feelings hurt, I would wait until you find one that is mature. Remember, you want to think about your future, not just the present.

Your education is far more important. Yes you are normal for wanting an education - your friends are immature. High school goes fast, believe it or not. Make time for some fun, but make sure your studies are top priorities. Your friends are temporary - when high school is over you'll never see most of them again. You might not believe that now but it's true - it's true of everyone. Their opinions are not important. Your education is. You are 15 - in three short years you will be a legal adult. It's time to buckle down now, so you can get into a good college. When your friends are flipping burgers, you will be having a career.
And hon, you should start with your writing. Internet-speak is not acceptable. You need to learn correct punctuation and capitalization and to write in complete sentences. I'm being forever dismayed by the poor writing skills I see on boards like these. If you can ask a question like you have, you can do better than this.
Stick to your guns. You can do it. Good luck!!!!

Education should be important right now. Get into college and lay out the groundwork for a bright future. College dating is more fun anyhow. You get to meet people with diverse backgrounds and without any preconcieved notions of you. I didn't start dating until college and ended up marrying my first boyfriend. It's important not to forget education when you're in college too. My boyfriend had the same major as me. So now we are married, work in the same industry, and have lots to discuss and common interests (and make good money besides). You are on the right track!

Education is definitely more important. Don't let those so called "friends" be a bad influence on you. If they were truly your friends, they wouldn't be making fun of you for trying to better yourself. You need to find friends that are into the things that you are...studies, academics, etc. You're on the right track. You can do all that stuff when you have a great career and are doing well for yourself. Maybe it's OK to date a little, but don't let it interfere with your studies. Leave the partying alone for now because it will get you off track to achieving your goals. I now peer pressure can be difficult, but please believe me when I tell you that you'll be very glad one day that you were strong enough to be your own person.

Education should win out every time - particularly when you are at the age when learning new things comes much more easily.
What's important is a reasonable distribution of your time. Friends and boyfriends are part of growing up and having a life, but your education is part of you having a good life for yourself far into the future.
What's also important is that you realize that FRIENDS don't laugh at their friends for wanting a good education. With friends like that, you don't need enemies.

Hello.... Ms 15 (: (:
Sounds like you have a head start above your so called friends. You seem to have a smart head on your shoulders. Good for you. Education is the most important. Don't worry my sweet little one trust me Love will find you. Please try real hard to remember this
Positive Attraction Will Cause Action.
Trust your common sense, it's a free gift from God, and get as much education as you can. You will be happy if you allow yourself to be and make good choices for yourself always. Don't be lead by negative friends. Love yourself and love God.
Have a nice day.
Sincerely, J (:

whoa, thats a first time i've heard that question. By far education is more important. First of all, dating a guy is not gonna get you into a college or get you a job, you education is. Your guys arent gonna last forever but your education will. Dont ever let a uy or freinds tell you that, cause its not true. Get your education before you get serious with anyone, makes life easier.

I'm 56 and when I was young and dumb I thought the party life was the way to go. Now I know better. If to do over I would get the good education, the good job, and then the foxy wife.In 10 years when your party pals work at burger king and you drive by in your mercedes with miss usa tell them you would like fries with that burger.

Keep doing what you are doing. I wish I was like you in HS, all I did was sleep and take tests. Now I'm in the Navy and will probably retire in the Navy. You need to tell those Fu*k heads at school that they will pay for it later in life. Most importantly remember that your better than that.
