I have been to Lancaster Pa and was sure that the Dutch believed that Heaven is here on Earth.. I heard on the radio that after the shootings- that they believed that the deceased children went to a "better place".

That's interesting but I can't imagine that anyone would think that this place was Heaven even if I did believe in a Heaven. If the children were in a better place then it wouldn't necessarily negate their Heavenly belief. Maybe there is a better place than Heaven. I would think that it is merely an attempt to rationalize and come to a peaceful resolution of this event which some people refer to as closure. When I lost my son it sort of made me feel better when I told people that he was in a better place but in reality he was still gone. Maybe at some time in the history of life Earth was Heaven but humans through our wondrous and infinite wisdom turned it into the cesspool of Bull Manure that it has become. Imagine what it must have been like many thousands of years ago when food grew and pure water flowed and people just wandered about freely. Now the air is polluted, the water is polluted, the food is genetically modified, and terror grips our everyday lives. The lives of course that we spend trying to make enough money to send to the wonderful people that govern us. Well with all that said would you think that this could in anyway be Heaven?
