Some Christian terminology is not literally physical. I myself being a Christian know that, but not everyone does. To be touched by Christ means that we are changed His spiritual effect on us. Also, He is not dead. He is risen from the dead. His resurrection is pivotal to our salvation.

I hope I helped! If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask!
God Bless You!

when I read or am told the story of Jesus's birth, how his mother,Mary, was commanded to take a vow of silence. And then after she had entered into the presence of her people, how they were put off by the fact that she now has a child when all knew that she was not married. And the people dealt with people having children outside of wedlock by the laws that Moses had received and enjoined on the Children of Israel,by stoning them to death. And this was diverted by Jesus speaking as a infant,by God's Permission. How touching indeed!

Because while Christ was crucified and he did rise to heaven, he was the son of God, and God has always been alive. Hence the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It's a trinity for a reason, as we are mind, body and soul.

He is alive

He died on the cross and rose to life on the third day. Then he ascended into heaven.

But he is going to come back to judge everyone who has ever lived!
