Call social services.tell them you are interested in keeping your brother at your house.I will warn you that social services will do strick backround checks on you and anyone living in your home that is a adult. They will also check to see if you make enough money to raise him and social services will be up your butt like flies on poop until he is 18 if he is approved to live with you.But keep in mind that if they thought your mom was such a bad person that they would of taken your brother right away from her.

if you are old enough then go to dcf...let them know you are scared for ur brother...if you have a somewhat decent job and shelter you shouldn't have a problem....then make it clear to them that you'd like to keep the family together..(ur bro) tell them you want to be a relative caregiver....i am...dcf does not like to see siblings apart especially if yous are very close....show them you are responsible and capable of handling your brother.....it would be wrong if they deny you custody....you just keep fighting....if he does wind up in a shelter and they do approve you....do all that they ask and you'll get him as soon as you pass whatever you have to do to get him.....just don't give up .....sometimes its a process ...but don't give up on your brother...you might be all he has.....i really wish you the best...you will be blessed....

CPS would probably have to become involved, and there is no guarantee they would let you take him, however much you love him. Its really tough. I wish you luck.
