Ok, there is this guy in my class that my friend is totally in love with. She wants me to ask him if he likes her. How do I ask him without him thinking that I'm the one in love with him?

that is sooooooooo immature. you guys need to grow up. if you can't ask a person if they like you or not then you shouldn't be dating. so ridiculous - go read a book - BOTH OF YOU!

Okay so your friend is obviously over obsessive with this guy. I know that as a good friend you want to do this for her (props to you) but the best thing to do right now would have her talk to him. Maybe get to know him a bit before jumping to conclusions. Maybe if she talks to him she can let him see the great qualities that she has to offer and he will ask her out so she doesn't have to face the humiliation if he says no. You seem like a great friend though! Keep up the good work!

Tell your friend to get some balls. It's common knowledge that guys don't like these kinds of games. And so what if he thinks you like him? He'll get over the fright eventually.

You say this....
"Hey Phil,
My friend Sue is about the shyest girl on the planet. She is really into you, but I don't want her feelings to get hurt. So, should I tell her that you like her too or should I try to steer her away from you? I don't want her to get hurt."

Easy.

Tell him that your friend likes him... it kind of seems that you might have feelings for him. Be careful with that... try to figure out if he is more important than your friendship with that girl

don't get involved. If your friend isn't mature enough to tell a guy she is interested, then she isn't mature enough to date. And you getting in the middle will only make matters worse.

........... juss say... u have a friend.. that wants to know... if he currently likes someone? if he thinks it's u... well so? juss make it clear... give him enuff hints as so he can sorta guess who it is... but don't tell him so u won't give ur friend's secret right away...

but u should tell ur friend to talk to him instead... it's the best idea...
