God Bless them because they are so much better than me. I don't think I could forgive him.

hamish?? isn't it amish. well anyways, i can't believe they forgave him like that, its amazing, but honestly i would have never forgave that guy for killing those girls. and i go to a catholic school and we were talking about it, my religion teacher said honestly she wouldn't do the same even though she tries very hard to be a good person, a good christian person, but still that is just something that she can't just forgive like that.

I think that forgiveness is a process. I think the natural reaction would be rage, anger, and hatred... some people never get over their hatred. Some people find that they need to forgive to have inner peace. It's hard to know what you would do unless you were faced with the situation.

I heard the AMISH people also forgave him. Since that piece of crap scum bag blew his own brains out, you might as well forgive him. He's dead so it only would frustrate you to harbor all that hatred. If he was still alive F--- no. I would never forgive him I would pay to have him butt raped in prison everyday until they strapped him to a gurney and gave him the needle.

If you can forgive others, that allows you to go on with your own life. Continuing to hold negative feelings, hate, etc. will only wear on you, not others.
