Fat is the worse to have. But if you do not burn calories they turn into fat.

Fat not only increases your weight but also raises your cholesterol.

The key to losing weight is to burn more calories than you take in. Reduce your fat and caloric intake, and follow an exercise plan.

Remember to first consult your doctor.

It's worse to have too much fat because fat can be stored without any processing; at least calories can be used immediately as energy and take some processing to be converted and stored as fat.

the worst is too much calories. there is a set amount of calories you should eat a day to maintain your weight. you exceed that amount, you gain weight. it's also good to limit your fat intake. to lose weight, reduce your caloric intake and limit your saturated fats intake. hope this helps. good luck.

Count the calories....for weight loss...
You will get those answers that tell you to do both, its good for your heart, health, big toe, etc.

But for weight loss, it's the calories, baby...look at it like money...irregardless of WHAT you spend it on, a big toy or a house...how much are you spending (or eating)?
